Bill Cressey served as Vice President and Chief Academic Officer at
Council on International Educational Exchange from 1996 to 2006.  
Before that he was a professor of Spanish linguistics and associate
dean for international programs at Georgetown University.

Bill currently serves on the governing boards of two organizations:

Foundation for International Education   www.fie.org.uk
Leadership Directories, Inc   www.leadershipdirectories.com
He also serves on the Board of Overseers of the Northport Village
Corporation.

In addition, he was one of the founders of the Forum on Education
Abroad   and also of the Inter-Organizational Task Force on Safety
and Responsibility in Study Abroad.
